I have owned a pretty good Point and Shoot and it served me pretty well . But as everyone does I too outgrew it. I needed something more powerful. I had exhausted all the manual settings available in the point and shoot and yet it felt that something was missing.
Then I decided it was about time I entered the world of DSLRs . I wanted an entry level DSLR. A DSLR for beginners. It should be an upgrade from my point and shoot. Not too costly and yet powerful. After a good amount of research and friend recommendations I decided to go for Canon EOS Rebel T3i, also known as Canon EOS 600 D.
It has been just one day since I got it and it feels like a good decision. I have fiddled with the manual settings and obviously still learning. But here are some of the first few shots.
